Students planning to study in Ireland for more than 90 days generally require a Long Stay ‘D’ Study Visa, while shorter courses may require a Short Stay ‘C’ Visa, depending on nationality and course duration.

Students holding a valid Stamp 2 permission may generally work up to 20 hours per week during term time and up to 40 hours per week during specified holiday periods.
