Basic Eligibility Requirements
Applicants for the points-tested stream generally need to:
Be under 45 years of age when invited
Nominate an occupation on the relevant skilled occupation list
Obtain a suitable skills assessment
Have at least competent English
Score a minimum of 65 points
Submit an Expression of Interest through SkillSelect
Receive an Invitation to Apply
Meet health and character requirements

Can Family Members Be Included?
Eligible members of the family unit may be included in the visa application, provided they satisfy the applicable health, character, and relationship requirements.

Where Can You Apply?
Applicants may submit an Expression of Interest from inside or outside Australia. Additional visa conditions may apply to applicants who are already in Australia.
